traveling historic route 66 is a great experience…here cars from the fifties are a frequent sight…they stick out like a neon sign in the dark night along a lonely stretch of road…you have to stop, get out and take a closer look…they are a part of the past that intrigues us, temps us and makes our thoughts wander to days long gone…

While the messenger has been preaching for many years, traveling the world far and near, he grows tired. Once again, using the baroque style mixed in with my own surf art twist, I have presented the viewer with many options. The symbols represent the messenger’s journey through time. Each one symbolizing a difficulty he has encountered.
