  • in the back street of clifton hill, this rusting monster lurks

  • This was a knitting mill, I think. It has now been razed to make way for a Bunnings! Apparently you cannot have too many Bunnings?!

  • An old door, obviously aged, paint peel and the appearance of rust. On the door is an old antique knocker that to me looks more beautiful old and worn that i can ever imagine it new and polished. /

  • This is the old Naugle’s Store & Post Office, located in Brixey Mo. Whenever I used to take my Mom on a drive to Rockbridge, we would always come to Naugle’s Store to buy some picnic supplies. Mom would always visit with Bessie Naugle, the owner, about old times. The last time I was here and it was open was about 15 years ago. My family lived about a half mile from here in the 1950’s (before I was born) and my older brothers & sisters went to both Upper Brixey and Lower Brixey one room schools.

  • This is a splintering, old red door on a ranch in rural Texas. I’m not sure what’s behind that locked door, but I’m kind of curious…

  • Sometime ago I found a few of these classic cars near the side of the road and recently I finally was in the area again, to get a few more shots. This is an HDR image.

  • Three shot HDR taken late this afternoon inside the old Cellulose Paper Mill between Millicent and Mt Gambier in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. The Mill is slowly being renovated section by section by the new owners and becoming home to a range of industries. This section is still untouched and is as it was when the macinery was taken away. Canon 400D – 18-55 HDR processed in Photomatix.

  • Digital Print Making. From my original photograph I have added many layers of scanned textures and hand colouring

  • Truck on display outside a local bar. Processed as a HDR it would make a beautiful card or picture to hang on any wall. Photographer / Robert Berry / Nikon D80 Nikor 18-135mm Lense / Three hand held images processed in Photomatix, post processed in Adobe Lightroom.. BEST VIEWED AT FULL SIZE!

  • This is a painting of some poorly plumbed hot water pipes at my work place. The piece is painted with Rublev 18th century reproduction watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. The combination of large granule pigments with the course grained Arches paper creates some very interesting textures. The original size of the piece is 7” x 5”. Featured in Water Media group in July 2009. / Featured in Painters in Modern Times group in August 2009. /

  • Abstract Macro Photography – Landscapes Solder

  • A pair slowly gaining awesome color with age, kind of like all of us

  • A machine room in an old roof tile factory. The machinery is dated from the early 1920’s and the factory itself was abandoned in 1988. I’m working on a series of this factory, uploads of which will surely follow over time. / WINNER Rusty, Crusty and Falling to Bits Group Machinery Challenge / GROUP AVATAR Rusty, Crusty and Falling to Bits Group 14/09/2009 / FEATURED Urban Exploration Group 28/09/2009

  • Rusty piece of machinery on Cockatoo Island, Sydney, Australia.

  • Money makes the world go round. We always seem to be owing on something, paying for someone, being paid for, buying, returning, exchanging. This is my ode to the necessary evil in all our western world lives. It would be great to live a life that didn’t rely so much on money to entertain us, or grant us the permission to live in general. Wouldn’t it? Original photo layered with grunge texture from www.deviantart.com free use stock. Slight adjustment of constrast on layers, hue adjustment and colour balance.
