Sorry there are no pinup girls in here, but there aren’t any flowers or puppies or kittens either!! One for all you “boys” out there. Old car wrecks, old planes, old pubs and old sheds, a bit of sport (just a teeny bit) and some bush!!

A collection of images taken at a junkyard located in the middle of a forest in Ontario, Canada. I tried to capture the essence of the changes time brings upon all things, living or not. The important thing to remember is that beauty is not always apparent and can be found in the most unusual places if you look hard enough.

In these old objects I find remnants of the energy of those who made them, used them, and in some cases, cherished them. / They were creators, craftsmen, artisans: Ancestors. It seems to me that a whole period of Western history has been dismissed and dismantled; only shards and fragments remain … only photography can preserve them, now. (For Diana)
