My apologies for having no originality in flower choice but as you can see, I love my plain old dandelions! Anyway, in this image there are 3 stages of flower from the same plant, the bud, the flower and the post-flower fairy which to me are like 3 generations. I chose the layers and treatment to reflect all 3 generations by being aged yet still bright and not faded. / Have sold 1 x laminated print.
Here’s another portrait of my favourite little muse…

16”x24” Mixed Media (Airbrush and Ink) She looked through to her past, remembering, contemplating, holding it close to her. One day…she looked deeper…deeper still and she knew it was time to let it go. She released her past…and watched as it flew far away from her…to it’s own future…to it’s own place wild, open and free. Having let it go…she is now free, having looked through the past and on to the future. – By Carrie Glenn / Inspiration and background courtesy of Lord Michael Gatch Featured in Out of the Past / (Thanks Jerame and Michael) Featured in Surrealism / (Thanks Hop Helen and Marison ) Featured in All Things Poetic, Prose, Philosophical / (Thanks Susan) Featured in Northwest Artists / (Thanks EllieWinds) Featured in The Healing Journey / (Thanks Julie) You can contact Carrie at: carrie@carrieglennstudios.com and please visit Carrie Glenn Studios /

Finished this painting today. / I think the painting speaks for itself…...these old things have a history…it shows on every little bit of these objects. The metal, the rust and of course the old wood. I added the flowers as a tribute to all of these. Acrylics on MDF, 40×50 cm, 16’‘x20’‘ / ORIGINAL PAINTING WAS GIVEN TO MY SISTER AS A GIFT FOR ALL HER KINDNESS / . /

/ I wouldn’t like to feed the photographers for which this photo is the plain and simple truth. Another instalment in my Nostalgia series although a little different then usual in the set-up. It’s a lot simpler a composition then most of my work, but let me assure you, it was so much harder to get right! Shot with my relatively new Pentax K10D and a very old Pentax-A 1:1.7 50mm objective. You can read all about the technique used in this tutorial more work / the calendar / preview / “Forgotten” was sold as a Medium mounted print to an anonymous buyer. Thank you! “Forgotten” is also freely downloadable as a wallpaper to decorate your desktop.
