Buster Bob is a cool dude! As yet unbroken, he is at liberty to be a baby horse and have fun. He is soooo laid back, though, I’m almost tempted to leap on his back and see how it goes! (Self preservation gets the better of me though!)

Ol Mose is another of those shots which took time to develop. For several weeks, on my way to Central Park in NYC I would pass him in his ‘Norske’ regalia that he used for pan-handling. He would be dressed with helmut, spear, and the works. Finally this one time I came by and he was taking a ‘break’ without his helmut, etc.. I took advantage of the morning light and open shade provided by the buildings and this is the shot I was finally satisfied with. The camera was the Hasselblad 500C w/250mm Tele with a No.8 yellow filter attached. The camera settings were f5.6 1/250th sec using Kodak's Tri-x film and given normal development in Kodak's D76 (1:1) 75 degrees.

Beagle puppies are among the cutest critters on God’s earth. The Beagle’s soft brown eyes are probably his most appealing feature. One long gaze into the eyes and the potential owner is likely to become an actual owner, for the breed has mastered the trick of looking as if he doesn’t have a friend in the world. The cuteness of Beagle puppies has made them favorites of the pet store trade. However, Beagles are sociable dogs developed to work in packs. If a Beagle becomes an only pet, its family must be prepared to provide a lot of stimulation for the dog to keep him home. Otherwise, his need for companionship and his desire to follow his nose to adventure could lead him to adopt another family, get arrested for running at large, or worse. His wanderlust, need for activity, and loud voice make him unsuitable for sedentary families or for apartments or unfenced yards. And it’s the bay, or half-howl, that causes neighbors to curse the day you bought your pet. Beagles are wonderful in the right home, with the right person or family. If treated right they are one of the most amiable hounds and calm, tractable house pets. They are excellent child’s dogs, gentle, incredibly tolerant and always ready to join in a game or an adventure. Puppy Time Set of Two / ! / / /

this is an image of my beautiful ol’ dog bud… / the expression he is wearing here is the one he most often wears… / he dosen’t hear so well anymore and we tend to have to jump up and down while waving our arms madly to get him to do what we want (it really is quite a sight) even then that usually dosent work… but hey we love him just the way he is… thanks for taking the time to have a look at the ol boy… shot with canon T90 FEATURED IN Black and White Photography August 09 / FEATURED IN Cats and Dogs August 09
