My wife took this one. I was too busy fishing and not catching anything. But what a magnificent setting within which to feed the fish.

On our trip to the Okavango, we were amazed at the speed of the sunset as well as the vivid colours.

This was taken while gliding in a makoro (originally a canoe made from a hollowed out tree, but now fibreglass) across the waters of the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Africa. The whilte flower turns pink after it has been pollinated.

Another shot from the Okavango Delta in Botswana Africa. This is a young stork (Marabou I think) testing its wings for the first time. It flew about 20 metres from the highpoint of the nest down to near water level.

These frogs are tiny, no more than about 2cm long. They change colour as the sun heats their bodies. They are a challenge to spot but when you do you feel a real sense of achievement.

Whilst on a mokoro ride in the Okavango Delta in Botswana I was being poled by some local men and took this photo. I love the detail and contract afforded by the sun and the symmetry of the two polers actions. One of my favourite photos.
