I painted this a few years ago and still have the original four by three foot painting in my studio. / I have a wide range of musical appreciation and Trane along with Miles Davis continue to inspire me in life and in art. Imagination or creativity doesn’t always come in the form of extreme busyness, and if you give this album your full attention, it will offer riches galore. / There is good reason why BLUE TRAIN is listed on many a jazz educator’s essential recordings list: It IS essential.

This is my Doom skull logo i am currently working on for a bigger piece that i will eventually finish, but i liked the skull as a solo element as well so i thought i would upload it as a shirt design! Featuring CCTV is always watching, capitalism barcode mouth.. can anyone tell me how to upload a close / enlarged version of my design into this section so people can actually view it properly?

This is a shirt design featuring my original acrylic work named “First Tree”, This is truly the first tree I ever painted, the need to paint and create was something brewing so strongly inside I had to do something about it. Yet my resources were very limited, I grabbed the only paint I had any access to, a can of my father’s black spray paint, I sprayed it into the lid of the can and used the only paintbrush I owned a cheep nylon brush from a water color kit and created. I then finished my work with the only two pastels I owned brown and black. / Necessity is the mother of invention, or maybe it’s that there is more than one way to skin a cat. (Sorry cat lovers) At any rate I grew up in a home with very few luxuries but I did have a passion to create, always, I had to feed the creativity. / So this is a very special piece to me and I hope to you as well. Our society’s addiction to oil and oil based products is threatening the human race. Corporate greed is compromising human rights and the environment through pollution and global warming. Things must change before it’s too late. This t-shirt is designed to quickly communicate the relationship between oil consumption and human suffering. The image of a hand gun and the use of the colour red represents blood and human suffering (so I would recommend a red t-shirt, but it still works on other colours). The fuel pump nozzle and use of black represents oil and petrol consumption. The link between the two items is the ‘trigger’, each of which is designed to be levered by the human finger. The ‘Oil Kills’ global message defies language barriers; selling to buyers in USA, UK, Canada, Europe and Australia.

I am forever inspired by the visual beauty of Kubrick films. This is a graphic take on the brilliant ‘future-shock vision’ film A Clockwork Orange, in which the protagonist Alex is given shock therapy to prevent him from enjoying the crimes he commits. After the treatment is complete, whenever Alex has evil or malicious thoughts, he feels like throwing up. Perhaps this is how we should treat the purveyors of contemporary evils?
