I was so impressed by the wonderful Mont St. Michel, its a beautiful place…a little rock Island…the wonderful houses ..the great History…the unusual tides from the water…read more and use this link Mont Sint Michel . I start to paint one of the towers. Here I use the technique to paint with the fine art technique. First I made a under painting in grey white and dark brown, after drying I use the transparante glasis colours to finish it. this was painted from a still from a movie on television. it was about people in mongolia, who lives in yurts, so they are nomads, moving a lot, and they are shepherds. families of a father and mother, grandparents, children, a dog and some horses and a lot of sheep. the scenes in this movie/documentary are very beautiful because of the colors of the clothes and the yurts. / I like to paint this people, I like their faces and looks, and their colors. / so this girl looks so blue and melancholic… oil on canvas / original size: 39,37×27,55 (100×70 cm)

This is a tiny oil painting (only 3×2 inches) of a waterfall that I really enjoyed doing and is one of several tiny paintings I did one day when I felt like sitting down to paint instead of standing. A tiny bit of glorious nature!! I always stand, sometimes for hours, when doing a landscape. What fun… sitting down to paint!!

A Group Indians living with the gifts of Mother Earth. The elements Water, Fire, Earth and Air are so important in their old Traditions . Living by a Lake, Sunset colors a little fire and their Teepee. With their food baskets they collected herbs. There are so many story’s and legends about this so wonderful people, its always intrested me. I used old storybooks to get my inspiration to create this painting, its all based on my personal imaginations to live in Nature. I made this Oilpainting in 2000. I love the wonderful colors of the parrots. I also like to play with the light in the spread wings and feathers. Create a background with green and dark, like its flying from a dark place in the forest to the light shine trough the trees. Together it was my inspiration to paint this Flying Parrot.
