I know that in an artistic sense this is quite simple, however to me it has great meaning. The image is of my two boys who are also the best of friends. They have an unbreakable bond and here, they are doing something they love; just being together.

©2004 Sara Montour I haven’t uploaded a lot of new photos lately. I’m super busy, but I definitely miss the RedBubble community and am hoping to be more involved. Fridays are a relatively slow day for me, so perhaps that will be my RedBubble day. I took this photo in 2004 when I lived in Ireland. We spent the day by the beach and were very ready to head back home. We finally got all the way back to the car and I saw this little toy and said “hold on! We can’t leave yet! I have an idea!” I ran back to the beach and took this shot and several others.

Took this a couple of weeks ago of my little girl at the beach and realised it’s potential this morning when I started to play with the colour, light and layers so of course I though that I would share!

San Ignacio Lagoon is one of the best places in the world to see Gray whales and their calves up close. During the calving season you can go out into the lagoon in a small boat (called a panga), and after a short wait, the whale mum and calf will come up to you. They (mainly the calf) love to rub themselves against the boats and also to be scratched! You really get a close up look into their eyes! Then, just when you start to feel at one with each them, they blow salt water in your face and all over your camera! Cannon Beach, Oregon. Nikon D80. As is. The sunset was sooooo gorgeous! October 4th, 2009 Walking up and down the beach, with the kids and the dogs and my sister and my mom! We had a great time this weekend! Earth Keepers: There was virtually no trash on this beach… it’s very well kept and just amazingly beautiful! Lets all try harder to keep it that way… everywhere!!!
