This photograph was taken on my local beach in early September. The title Sea Spray is self explanatory, I think. The day was hot and the sea was not particularly rough, but it always splashes up by the rocks. Fishermen stand on the rocks to fish and children hunt here for crabs sheltering in the rock pools. This photograph was taken at the beach in Oliva in the Valencian province of Spain.

This image was taken just after sunrise in Sawtell on the Coffs Coast. I was lucky enough to holiday there recently. The weather was cool and mostly raining but surprisingly the ocean was the same temperature as the bay is mid summer. The rain didn’t stop the surfers and it didn’t stop me either. / Canon 450D 18-200mm lens / ISO 100 / exposure: 1/320 at f8
