On a road trip in mid-August 1987, this coastal scene was taken while travelling down the United States west coast. I wasn’t too meticulous about recording image info, including locations, in those days. But my memory, imperfect as it is, tells me this fog enshrouded scene was taken somewhere along the Oregon coast. Made painterly via Photoshop.

Mouthstick painting by Lori Konkle / watercolor on watercolor paper / the original is 17”x13” Lori was along time survivor of multiple sclerosis. She painted using a mouthstick to hold the brush in her mouth. She painted 570 mouthstick watercolors. Lori donated all the proceeds of the sale of her paintings to charity.
