This artwork was based off of a poem created all by magazine cutouts with random words chosen. The poem was not prepared beforehand and was thought on the spot. I thought of comfort as my own home as it is a mirage on the sea. Poem: / Happiness in strong hope decide intense power BELIEVING whip waves of simply comfort spirit & wonders beyond the shore.

This is a rather odd choice for my first upload to RedBubble but the story goes thus… As part of my Pharmacy course we have to go on work placement in a rural location to learn about the challenges facing pharmacists outside the big smoke. This location can be anywhere in Australia. Naturally, we chose Port Douglas in tropical north Queensland, and had the time of our life. Unfortunately, one of the people I was travelling with had to fly back to Sydney early to go to a Jay Chou concert (I know, don’t ask). The drive from the airport back to Port Douglas was probably the most beautiful hour in my life – this photo doesn’t do it justice.
