The last remains of the old Port Willunga jetty, South Australia. Port Willunga Beach was recently named as the only Australian location in ‘Travel and Leisure’ magazine – hip travel list of emerging destinations. This is still one of my favourite locations to photograph and is only a 40 minute drive south of Adelaide. Pentax *ist DS – DSLR. Also available:

A black and white with vignetting version of my image of Port Fairy Lighthouse. This is one of my all time favourite photographs so I thought I would share it. It was taken on a point and shoot about 3 years ago so is not available for larger prints. The flowers in the foreground of this photo have a story of their own. The bulbs of the irises were planted by the first lighthouse keepers in the garden of the long since ruined keepers house. All that remains of the house is a portion of the garden. The iris bulbs come up every spring as a reminder of what once was. Colour version is also available. This is how it looks in card form: I have this image on my wall using a black matte and charcoal frame which looks absolutely amazing and sets off the black and white image well.

This shot was taken on an overcast and rainy day at Flynn’s Beach in Port Macquarie.. I had to take a shot as the colour of the water was a very nice blue-green.. I was also happy with the way I captured the wave crashing on the rocks offshore.

Image of a male Australian Fur Seal(Arctocephalus pusillus),taken at Popes Eye Marine Park,Port Phillip Bay,Victoria.There was a colony of seals in the area many very inquisitive,this big fella got closer than I would have liked a few times.I was fortunate to observe males play fighting & asserting there dominance by slapping there fins on the water & then attacking each other,dont know whether it was stupid to be in amongst it but it sure was one of those magical moments in diving. © Copyright M.Tworkowski

I have always loved Sea urchins and have always collected them from when i was a child right up into adulthood. They would be the first thing I would look for when I got out of my car and my feet hit the sand on the beach. Suprisingly there arent that many to be found anymore on the beach where I have always gone to find them. sony ax 300 SLR 70 – 200ml lense.

This award winning photo was my own personal choice for the place of honor in our home: above the hearth. The photo was taken on a still, misty morning near Port Orford, Oregon, of a man walking his dog on the boulder strewn beach, with the hazy coastal mountains rising up in the background. Oshie, a rescue dog, checks out the beach during a beautiful sunrise on the beach in Port Orford, Oregon. Oshie is a shepherd mix who loves to run on the beach… and roll in unidentifiable dead things that she finds. She somehow became unwanted by her former owner when she was only about a year old. A favourite spot for photographers and it is rare to visit on a night without running into others with cameras!!! Canon 400D 18-55 lens with CIR Polarising filter. Converted in Photoshop CS3.

Late afternoon at Port Willunga South Australia. Looking out towards the setting sun through the remains of the Old Jetty structure. Not overly sure about the colours here, strange evening with orange red clouds and just dark enough to get a slight amount of motion in the foreground. Canon 400D, 18 -55 lens, CIR Polarising filter coupled with an ND4. Wet legs and a wet tripod, standing out in the water trying to avoid waves!!!!!!

This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company… Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother.
