  • This small rock pool is found in Cabbage Tree Bay, along the pathway between Manly and Shelly Beach on Sydney’s northern beaches. The sculpture/statue is known as The Oceanids. This image was a 30 second exposure nearly an hour before sunrise with the pool wall and sculpture lit up by a nearby street light. This image has also won a photo of the week at photographer Steve Parish’s Photograph Australia website.

  • Dawn over South Curl Curl Beach tidal pool, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

  • The starting blocks at Newcastle’s Merewether Ocean Baths

  • Can’t help myself with these at the moment…I’m obsessed.

  • I got really wet for this one. I really should wait for warmer weather to do these sort of shots!

  • The cave entrance to the surf break at Uluwatu, Bali

  • I liked the colour in this one. Taken on the Sony A200 again. Too much sea spray to take out the Canon.

  • Another shot from the edge of the rocks at Narrabeen facing the incoming tide.. I love the way the water swirls around through the rocks and looks like fog with the longer exposures. EXIF / Date: 17/09/2008 / Time: 6:29am / Aperture: f/22 / Shutter: 1.8 seconds

  • I’ve been planning this idea for a while – just waiting on the right telly to appear….but bensound beat me to the idea Oh well… This telly belonged to my husbands grandma who passed away last year. I’m sure she would have been looking down on me today having a good chuckle as I lugged the telly around Newcastle Baths.

  • Going to do a series of the Noosa National Park in Queensland. This place is totally beautiful, and so natural! The park is loaded with hiking tracks, with some unmarked and quite rugged. I can’t think of anything better than being alone and at one with nature in it’s purest form. This rock pool, not easily accessable as it took about 20 minutes of rock jumping and some climbing. I find the best places are where no one can easily access :) Noosa National Park, Noosa Heads, Queensland, Australia. Canon 50D, 10mm. Available Large and best viewed Large!

  • Just another day …...... Rota Island – August 2009 / straight out of the camera / Life on this island is friendly and unhurried and the hospitality is as unforgettable as the magical sunsets. Rota Island is a natural playground with around 3000 inhabitants and is known by many to be Micronesia’s best-kept secret / Rota (Chamoru: Luta) also known as the “peaceful island”, is the southernmost island of the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and the second southernmost of the Marianas Archipelago. It lies approximately 40 miles north-northeast of the United States territory of Guam. Songsong village is the largest and most populated followed by Sinapalo village (Sinapalu). In 1521, the first European to see Rota, was the lookout on Magellan’s ship Victoria, Lope Navarro. However, Magellan’s Armada of three ships didn’t stop until they reached Guam, so the first European to arrive in Rota (in 1524), was Spanish navigator Juan Sebastian Elcano, who annexed it together with the rest of the Marianas Archipelago on behalf of the Crown of Spain. Rota has diverse flora and fauna.. / Wikipedia ©2009/2010 Globalphotos All rights reserved. / All photographs, text and images by Globalphotos are the exclusive property of Globalphotos – protected under Australian and international copyright laws. / These images may not be reproduced, copied or manipulated without written permission. / No use for Public Domain. / Use of any image for another photographic concept or illustration is a violation of copyright.
