A reproduction of an oil painting of a lighthouse in California on a gloomy day.
A primitive lighthouse with some historical value, otherwise a very beautiful place to have a picnic….
I didn’t see the 4 layers of waves when I snapped the picture but was quite enthralled with the image after I noticed it. This was taken at White Point Beach Lodge on the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

This is a picture of rock point at sunset, with some fog creeping in. Took it from my workplace. Thank god for Bear Cove Ice. Taken from Bear Cove in Port Hardy, BC. / On Vancouver Island.
The ‘White Queen’ as she is affectionately known is a welcome sight for ships that have rounded Cape Otway. Overlooking Eagle Rock and near Witch Rock, the lighthouse is not only a beacon to seafarers but also to travellers on the Great Ocean Road. More on www.lighthouse.net.au / I should apologise to the Anglesea & District Historical Society for originally listing this image as “Indian Head guarding… etc”
This was my view at sunrise from my workplace on July 23rd. We have been working steady for the pass couple weeks and this is one of my rewards. When I go to work lately, I see the sunsetting and the sunrising. I will be sharing the best of them with you my friends. Keep watching. :) Take care and enjoy. / It’s my little tropical view without going to the tropics.

Taken at the Mornington Peninsula group RedBubble meet on the coast near Blairgowrie at Spray Point…and as mentioned before it does live up to it’s name..heaps of spray drops on my lens in this shot. I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of wading on rock shelves looking for that shot…I hope you like this one as much as I enjoyed taking it. / Mishaal Sadar has written a wonderful piece in collaboration with this photo. / You can find it here

The Split Point Lighthouse at Aireys Inlet on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria. Built in 1891 and converted to automatic in 1919. The original lighthouse keepers quarters, adjacent to the lighthouse are not privately owned. What a view they have!! This was the first morning on the Great ocean Road, and it was drizzling and cold. I had grave hopes of capturing anything, then the clouds broke away just a little bit, and the rain stopped :) After ariving here at 5:30am, this first shot taken at 7:30am.. Canon 50D, 10mm. Available Large, and best viewed Large!
