I am most proud of this shot so far in my short time doing photography. This image incorporates my passionate nature with my love of the ocean. I used to lobster fish with my Dad and so the ocean holds a lot of dear, and not so dear LOL, memories for me. I almost froze my hands off doing this. It was snowing a little while before I took this shot so you can imagine close to the water, with a breeze, how cold it was. However, in the name of love and romance, anything goes! LOL
Another shot at Point Lonsdale, Australia. The colours only lasted a moment, fired as many shots as i could in the hope that one would turn out well. / I often hear people say ‘yeah, but its photoshopped’. While i’ve had to adjust brightness and contrast on a computer, the colours come from shooting at the right time.

Beautiful Double Island Point Lighthouse, built in 1884, and operational since. It’s a metal clad, over timber frame lighthouse, and the light today after many upgrades over the years, has 750,000 candle power! In 1992, the lighthouse had solar panels installed, and was no longer manned. Canon 50D, 18mm. Double Island Point, Rainbow Beach, QLD. Available Large.

A slightly confused trolley across the bay from the San Francisco city. This thing was missing a wheel and rusty as hell. Shot around 7:50 pm before the sun had gone down, a little experiment with my new ND400 Filter :) If you look extremely carefully the golden gate is on the horizon engulfed in the infamous fog that rolls in every single bloody day… / Settings Canon 40D, 17-85mm IS. Title from a certain Chris Isaak song… I haven’t been taking a lot of photos whilst enjoying my stay in San Francisco but this little visit to a certain bridge we all know, made the fact that I hadn’t been out not matter to me at all, I absolutely loved this spot and I can’t wait to come back to this great city and explore it a little bit more… Without a doubt this is already one of my favourite photos out of the many thousands I have taken over the past 18 months or so, thanks for looking :D / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm IS.
