A mid-winter storm driving large waves on to the famous Peggys Cove rocks. Photo was taken in January 2007 Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada.
I was hoping if you have a second you could help me with a bit of curiosity. I couldn’t decide between this shot and the other which is close and has the same name with the exception of being (1) instead of (2). I uploaded both and decided to get opinions if you don’t mind. Thanks! Darlene Here’s the other one / /

Another photo of the scenic fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada… I took this photo summer of 2007…
This shot of the sunset at Peggy’s Cove in Nova Scotia is exactly as is. It was a magical night and there seemed to be many sunsets happening in one night. The sky was constantly changing and it was a beautiful thing to witness. I already have two shots up from that night but I think this one is worth putting up too. And you never know, there could be others to follow! Maybe I’ll make a “Lighthouse Sunset” calendar. :)
Scott and I were driving away from a spectacular sunset at Peggy’s Cove, NS when I spotted this beautiful scene. I quickly backed up and grabbed the camera again, and as it turned out, not for the last time that night either! :)
July 14, 2007, a typical mid summer fog envelopes the entrance to the tiny harbour of Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia. Not much fun creeping around out on the Atlantic on a day like this, even with radar and being old hands at fishing.
July 14 2007, a heavy Atlantic summer fog at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, keeps everyone off the fishing boats and snug inside. Except, of course, people who like to get soaking wet in the heavy mist so they can get a picture of what the locals are avoiding. Sony DSCF828.
September 2006 at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, a tiny fishing village about 30 miles or so from Halifax, with a permanent population of about 50. Plus thousands upon thousands of tourists from all over the world. The huge granite rocks are left over from the glaciers of the last Ice Age, 10,000 years ago, which carved out the cliffs and gullies that make the area so unique. This day the Atlantic Ocean was quite calm but there was that long slow ocean swell that rolls in slowly but with great force. The tide was low this time, but the force was enough to send the bursting surf straight up the cliffs and tower over these two people who actually weren’t soaked at all. The spray went up and did the usual seconds of pause and then collapsed, leaving them high and dry. / Sony DSCF828 camera with polarizing filter. Featured in All Water In Motion Group !!

Woman plays an accordion while a man listen’s in, beside the Lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada. That’s the Atlantic Ocean in the background. Usually this spot is encased in fog, but it was my lucky day! The people were kooky, to say the least and added to the surrealism of the place. You could hardly hear the accordion due to the crashing waves all around just out of view of this shot.
Peggy’s Cove is a tiny fishing village on the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. I’ve been going there for 50 years and never tire of the beautiful scenes. I’d like to share some of them with you. / The Cove is a world-famous tourist attraction and the lighthouse is a Canadian icon, but I hope you’ll enjoy my own images of a place that’s very dear to me. Thanks for looking.
