  • Sunrise on the ocean, is a beautiful look with the mist rising and the sky and sea taking on the colors of the sun. Get up before 5 and take a walk if you live near a beach, it’s so worth it. • Got up for dawn at Port Campbell only for it to be drizzly and overcast, but by the time I got down to the beach and the sun started to rise some awesome colour came through and it made the early start well and truly worth it! / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm EF-S. • This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company… Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother. For information read this story on the collapse / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm EF-S. • Elephants Rocks, Denmark, Western Australia. For Beth, my twin-sis. Another image from one of my favourite places. The day of our visit, it amazed me how many people stood on the top of these rocks and then turned back to the carpark, missing the view of the rocks from this point and all the wonderful coastline around the corner. Still, that means we had it to ourselves!! For enquires about canvas prints, or photographic prints larger than Redbubble options, please contact me via bubblemail

  • A slightly confused trolley across the bay from the San Francisco city. This thing was missing a wheel and rusty as hell. Shot around 7:50 pm before the sun had gone down, a little experiment with my new ND400 Filter :) If you look extremely carefully the golden gate is on the horizon engulfed in the infamous fog that rolls in every single bloody day… / Settings Canon 40D, 17-85mm IS. • Marloes beach near Dale in South Wales. Inspirational piece of coastline even in the worst weather there is always a photo opportunity

  • Yup, that’s what it is…a sunset from the rocks on Schoodic peninsula in July…so wonderfully mellow there…possibly my favorite place. That’s Cadillac mountain in the distance (the main part of Acadia National Park). Schoodic is the ‘quiet’ part of Acadia, less frequented by noisy tourists… / This area is threatened by a proposed 3000+acre ‘eco resort’ for the rich to be located on and just off this peninsula…an Italian investor wants to build it…it would totally destroy the beauty and peacefulness of this wonderful place…the locals are mostly opposed to it, but in the ‘land of greed’, where there’s money to be made for those that already have too much, you can be sure it will eventually happen, sadly… ~ please view large ~ Schoodic peninsula, Acadia National Park, near Winter Harbor, Maine, US / 7/09 / Canon EOS T1i, 18-55 (18), auto landscape / thanks for the look, my friends! • Going to do a series of the Noosa National Park in Queensland. This place is totally beautiful, and so natural! The park is loaded with hiking tracks, with some unmarked and quite rugged. I can’t think of anything better than being alone and at one with nature in it’s purest form. This rock pool, not easily accessable as it took about 20 minutes of rock jumping and some climbing. I find the best places are where no one can easily access :) Noosa National Park, Noosa Heads, Queensland, Australia. Canon 50D, 10mm. Available Large and best viewed Large!

  • The beautiful Granite Bay in Noosa National Park. The more I visit this place, the more I fall in love with the area. There is always birds flying around, beautiful rock pools, just waiting to be discovered. Some of the larget pools make a lovely smooth base pool too :) Granite Bay, Noosa National Park, Noosa Heads, Queensland, Australia. Canon 5D Mk II, 35mm, 16:9 crop. Available very large, and best viewed large.
