This is one of several sunrise/early morning photos I have of Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The footbridge is the same footbridge that is featured in my “Crossing the Bridge” photo. There are two islands in this photo. You can actually walk to the closer one, Salt Island, at low tide without getting your feet wet, because of a sand bar that spans from the far end of the beach to the island. The second island in the far background, directly behind the reflection of the sun, is Thatcher Island. There are two lighthouses on Thatcher Island, one at each end,, but only the lighthouse on the right is operational. Thatcher Island is one of the landmarks that waas mentioned by George Clooney in his portrayal of Gloucester fishing boat Captain Billy Tyne in the movie “The Perfect Storm”

Took this shoot on the way down to Dunsbrough last friday . / Stopped off at Busselton to get some shots of the Busselton Jetty , didnt relise there was so many piece of old jetties down there and they were great photo ops . This shot was at Sunset and was 6 images stitched .

This was my first vision as I crawled out of my tent at Waianapanapa, near Hana, Maui. Not too shabby, I thought to myself. Rarely on Maui is the wind calm enough to shoot an HDR turning the knobs slowly through 6 exposures. It worked. This is now a best-seller in my gallery!
