So there I was, just out for a walk along the beach at sunset. The explosive thermo-nuclear sunset to the west was begging for my attention, but to the east was this little black cloud, hoping to slip by un-noticed and join in all the sunset fun with the other clouds. I caught him in no man’s land, with nowhere to hide. I let rip with a 12 megapixel onslaught, and the rest is history. This image is brand new and will be removed when the quota is reached. An original painting, highly textured beach scene. The inspiration coming from the fact that I live just a stone’s throw (the splash) from Hove beach in East Sussex. The subtitle is taken from a line from the song ‘The Cutter’ by The Bunnymen which has a more personal level.
