  • My sculpture of the White Female Buddist is shown peacefully sitting in the inner world. The bars represent the imprisionment of the conscious mind but she is showing us that our self imposed imprisonment is not real. Peace comes from within first and is then reflected outwardly. Peace creates waves of peace that gently ripple accross the world, reaching and calming the most chaotic situations.

  • One of my Sculptral peices merged with photography. She is the White Buddha and is reminding us that our essence is Peace.

  • A copped image of the original making it perfect for use as a card. This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. The Swallows were cut a little latter. I’ve also used a found object to create the halftone like dots that appear on her dress and in the swallows to. ‘Rain Birds’ is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. ‘The other is snow and umbrella’ and ‘umbrella and rain’.

  • Photo taken in St James Park London.

  • I saw & felt this male Humpback Whale jumping out of the water from our very small fishing boat. It was a spectacular exp for me… Something I will never forget. Humpbacks are known as the acrobats of the ocean, often seen breaching (jumping out of the water), and flipper and tail slapping. For what purpose are these actions? These activities performed by surface active groups are usually involved in breeding behaviors. Researchers think the males are competing for the chance to mate with available females. Some of the behaviors shown were breaching, flipper/pec (pectoral fin) slapping and tail slapping. Breaches and slaps, in addition to being aggressive displays during courtship, may also be a play behavior in juvenile and adult whales Breaches and slaps may also be used to remove pesky barnacles or old skin (a form of grooming). The average length of a humpback whale? / Calves can be about 15 feet in length. Adults are about 45-50 feet.~ Nikon D60/55-200 / N.W. Mexico / Jan-2009 1802 views / 11-09

  • Peppurr Pooh as we call her has been with our family for almost 10 years now, we found her as a kitten being tossed about by Magpies, skinny, almost blind, ear mites, cat flu, flea infested and close to death. Of course I couldn’t let her die without trying everything to save her. I did what any animal lover would do, I took her to the Vet who said she would be lucky to make it through the night, well she did to everyone’s surprise. I fed her by an eye dropper, cleaned her eyes almost every hour with saline solution and eye drops, gave her medication and vitamins. I bathed her and gave her unconditional love. She would suckle on my earlobe if she snuggled up under my shoulder, her purring almost gave me an ear ache LOL. She never thought of herself as a cat, and still doesn’t, she is almost human, she doesn’t meow like a normal cat, she calls me “Mam Mowh” I think its sweet since my daughter would call me Mummy it was as though Peppurr would mimic her. About 3 years ago, we almost lost her, I purchased a Flea product which contained an ingredient called ‘Permethrin’ as it turns out it is toxic to cats, she began fitting and foaming at the mouth, her face muscles were twitching and her body was shaking beyond belief, I rushed her to the Vet who fortunately for me flushed her system with a drip, kept her in for almost a week, it was touch and go. But they saved her! Thank God for Vets! / I want to warn everyone out there to read the ingredients of flea products anything containing this Permethrin should be avoided at all costs. even those insecticide sprays that intermediately spray in the home on a timer.. don’t use them if you have cats! Tonight I brought her in and just had to take some pic’s of her, I didn’t use a flash because it would hurt her eyes. She is such a darling :)) Color Representation: sRGB / F-Number: F/4.2 / Exposure Time: 1/8 sec. / ISO Speed: ISO-800 / Metering Mode: Pattern

  • My dear little Peppurr hasn’t she got the cutest little features LOL

  • I love nature, and often meditate, the fragrance from my garden now in bloom, lush with brilliant white Jasmine’s fill the air with a luring scent, I picked a small branch off and decided it was time to reflect their true beauty and try to capture their fragrance by way of using the macro lens and experiment with a natural light source from a simple television screen as the backdrop. This is the end result straight from the camera. I hope you like this. This is what happens when you sit up till 4:50am Camera Make & Model Olympus E-300 / Focal Length F/3.5 / Exposure Time 1/20 / ISO Speed 200 Featured: /

  • Another capture using only the television as a source of light behind these Jasmine flowers. :0) Camera Make & Model Olympus E-300 / Focal Length F/3.5 / Exposure Time 1/20 / ISO Speed 200 Love experimenting this was also created at about 4:50am yesterday morning.
