  • A typical perspective in NYC.

  • I took this in Feb 2007 in Lower Manhatten. The colour jiggery pokery was done in Dec 07 and since then it’s started to attract some attention. I think the picture captures the iconic nature of the New York cab and also gives a decent impression how cold that place can get in February

  • This isn’t a shot of a building that I flipped in Photoshop. It’s designed to look this way if you stand in the corner and shoot almost straight up. I did take a bit of tweaking as it’s not designed to be perfectly symmetrical. One wing of the building is shorter than the other. It’s a really well designed building with a wonderful abstract quality. Love the skyscrapers of MIdtown Manhattan.

  • A late night view of the New York City skyline and the Hudson River.

  • Location: NYC, USA

  • As we are nearing the 8th anniversary of 9/11, I wanted to post this shot of Lower Manhattan. I am a bit ashamed to say, that I have not seen the New York City skyline with the World Trade Center Towers. I can only imagine how magnificent it must have looked. We shall never forget!

  • The Brooklyn Bridge, built between 1869 and 1883, connects Manhattan with New York’s most populous borough, Brooklyn. The bridge is one of the most magnificent landmarks in New York. / The construction of the Brooklyn Bridge started in 1869 and took 14 years to complete. / Brooklyn Bridge PylonThe Brooklyn Bridge ranks as one of the greatest engineering feats of the 19th century and remains one of New York’s most popular and well known landmarks. / The impressive bridge spans the East river from Brooklyn to lower Manhattan and stretches for about 1.5 km. / An elevated pedestrian path gives you the opportunity to have a great view of downtown Manhattan’s skyline, with a particularly nice view of the magnificent Woolworth building. /

  • And one sneaky photographer. Captured while riding the New York Subway. Converted to HDR via ReDynaMix, than dodge & burnt and otherwise edited in CS3 and Digital Lightroom. Taken with Nikon D200 and Nikkor 24-120mm lens. This image is currently on display at the Walls Fine Art gallery in Downtown Norfolk, VA. /
