Because Easter is approaching I thought it appropriate :) The child’s sustenance, or umbilical cord if you like is coming from a tree, symbolic of the healing that nature can bring….the new life and growth that comes with nurture both of spirit and of nature. Humility is understanding our rightful place in the scheme of all things, including nature, family structure and the wider community…... a world where there is tolerance for all, is the one i pray for

I watched two of this little robin’s siblings leave the nest pretty readily, but this last one seemed to require a little extra encouragement. Maybe it was because after the other’s had fledged, Mom and Dad brought back about seven worms and there was no competition left for those worms.

The Sea is the primeval source of life…formless, limitless, inexhaustible and full of possibility, as is the SEAHORSE. The only species of sealife or animal that the male becomes the maternal vehicle for life… This is for my dear brother Christopher to remind him of the balance in transformation and rebirth and the infinite wisdom which resides within his being and unconscious to nurture both the male/female aspects of self with love. The black-crested Sulawesi Macaques is one of the most endangered monkeys in the world, populations declining 60% in the last 10 years. This monkey is found on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia, where it is hunted because its meat is considered a delicacy. Habitat destruction is also contributing to their demise.
