In this design I was playing around with the concept of how people judge one another. I chose to do this in a paint-by-numbers style so that at first glance, people have no choice but to judge where which colors go. The purpose of which is to prove them wrong. / I tried this on several people, most of which assumed she had a pink shirt and blue eyes and blond hair, which is partially right, but not quite. / A person has to get to know this shirt before they realize she has pink and blue hair. At which point, they know her true colors. / This shirt is a physical representation of the personal judgments we make on others, especially those who appear different. A Teardrop in Time I dedicate this to all Native Americans. / This image is so much more than a photograph of a beautiful sunrise…...to me it symbolizes power and strength, and overwhelming evidence of a power so much greater than we could ever imagine…...the teardrop is in memory of all the vast numbers of Native Americans whom were abused and destroyed by others’ ignorance….... I had an opportunity that I clearly used to my advantage…...while up at Lake Nora over the weekend, a dragonfly in distress and nearly dead happened my way; he spent the good part of an hour letting me photograph him before he gathered up enough strength and then flew off, only to land about 10 feet from me, but out in the water…........I made a wish for him and I know his spirit is watching over all the others as they diligently go about their designated tasks…...I had a very good feeling though as if he was put right there in front of me for this reason…......I got quite a few shots of his entirety, but I enjoy this one more…........ / ______ / All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. I took this photo on 07/13/06 on a vacation with my husband; we began in Redding, CA went over to the Northern CA coast and headed north…. went clear up to Tillamook, Oregon. We followed the shoreline all the way, on this wonderfully scenic trip. Built in 1936 at MP 141.68, just south of Newport is one of several toll-free bridges forming a part of the Oregon coast highway, US 101. This bridge is located in the city of Newport. YAQUINA BAY (NEWPORT) BRIDGE / The structure is a combination of both steel and concrete arches. The main span of the 3,223-feet structure is a 600-foot steel through arch flanked by two 350-foot steel deck arches. There are five reinforced concrete deck arch secondary spans on the south end of the steel arches and fifteen concrete deck girder approach spans.
