This tiny but beautiful little creature lives on the side of the dock at the marina..it’s from 1/4 to 1 inch long and is hard to find unless you get down on all fours and almost stick your head in the water. Taken with a Pentax waterproof camera.

This colourful little Nudibranch was found at Flinders Pier,the feathered area on its back are its gills with the Rhinophores(receptors)at the front.

This little Nudibranch(Tambja verconis) seemed to be puzzled by my presence.There are over 300 species in Australia alone & its believed many more to be discovered.The two horn like appendages at the front are called rhinophores & this particular species feeds solely on a green bryozoan which can make them reasonably easy to find.Image taken at a dive called Portsea Hole,Port Phillip Bay,Vic / © Copyright M.Tworkowski
