This piece has taken almost a year to finish. it’s been the most stubborn painting I have ever created and I’ve shed a few tears of frustration over it I don’t mind admitting. I don’t know if I will ever love it, but I am proud to have finished it and I have learned a lot in the process- that makes it important in my book!
..for Kitsmumma.. (again) .. studio shot, model posed over a shallow pool of water and reflection was shot..
the creek and water is a great place for leveling and expression. the day was erotic in nature. it called for more than just a model and a photographer. the brutality of the gas mask and the clarity of the spirits in this area gave us a feeling that life was worth more than just what it had become.

A special collaboration between… Models: Sarah & Sonia / Photographer: Geoff Coleman / Post Production: Sarah Moore & Geoff Coleman / Art Direction: Rose Moxon Many thanks to Kim Robinson, Paul and Linda without whom this shoot would probably have killed most of us! / This was one wild weekend!!!!! More pix soon.
Deinitely worth the click to Larger for this one, particularly given the vertical pano crop. This is the first shot from the collaboration between Sonia, myself Sarah Moore and Rose Moxon Collaborations as follows: Models: Sarah and Sonia / Art direction: Rose / Camera: Geoff / Post-production: Sarah, Geoff and Rose This has been a fascinating journey – right from poor Sarah and Sonia freezing their butts off on a less than warm early Spring day under National Falls in Royal National Park, right through to each of us working on bits of the photo pretty much on the basis of “I can’t do that, can you?” and “what do you think about doing this?”, etc, etc. All up loads of fun. Many thanks to Kim Robinson, Paul and Linda without whom this shoot would probably have killed the grumbling one who thought a 5 minute stroll into the park was a journey of epic proportions (not looking at you here Rose).

He said that he couldn’t see land. He said it was like sitting in the middle of the ocean. I wish I could have been there.
