I sold a laminated print through Redbubble – August 2008 This is the coloured version Tank traps on Stockton bight, a series of sand dunes north of Newcastle. Recent visitors have discovered they are mostly all covered in sand now. I took this shot in Bateau Bay, which is part of Central Coast New South Wales Australia. Roughly 2 hours above Sydney. I love the glow of sunsets in wet sand and this, broken by the rocks, formed a scene I just had to capture!

Gerroa is an idyllic village at the Kiama end of Seven Mile Beach on the south coast of New South Wales … their sunset on Tuesday (6 January 08) was aided by smoke haze from bushfires in the Morton National Forest. After a day in which temperatures reached 40 degrees celsius and beyond, it was a pleasure to have the surf lapping my ankles as the sun slipped behind the mountains.
