  • I’m sorry but I forget exactly where I was when I snapped this sunset shot. All I can tell you is I was most likely less than an hours drive from Windsor.

  • When I got my Canon PowerShot A640 in the early Summer of 2007 I started taking various shots in the backyard. This image of a purple Iris was one of the first macro shots I had ever taken, and definitely one of my most popular images here on RedBubble. It was named Iris’ Tongue because it looked to me like it was sticking out it’s “tongue”. / / “Iris’ Tongue II” has been shown as a part of the Flower Power Project Exhibition in Frisco, Texas. / / “Iris’ Tongue II” is available in all print formats offered by RedBubble. / / / / / / / / Check out more of my art from these categories: / Holiday Cards / Abstracts / Sketches / Birds / Seascapes/Landscapes/Sunsets / / Subscribe to art updates / Subscribe to T-shirt updates / Become a fan on FaceBook / Add me as a friend on FaceBook / Follow me on Twitter _____________ /

  • Sunrise / Peggy’s Cove Nova Scotia Canada

  • A mid-winter storm driving large waves on to the famous Peggys Cove rocks. Photo was taken in January 2007 Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada.

  • HDR image of Norfolk Southern Engine No. 5663 slowing for a railroad crossing in Montandon, PA. I just love the “Ferrari like” horse logo on the engine. HDR Images / Prague Images / Aviation Related Images

  • Cheticamp Nova Scotia facing south along the Straght of St. Lawrence.

  • If you have a moment I am rather curious about something. I couldn’t decide between two images so I’m uploading both and calling them Peggy’s Cove, NS (1) and Peggy’s Cove, NS (2). Can you tell me which you enjoy the best? Thanks!! Darlene Here’s the other one / /

  • I was hoping if you have a second you could help me with a bit of curiosity. I couldn’t decide between this shot and the other which is close and has the same name with the exception of being (1) instead of (2). I uploaded both and decided to get opinions if you don’t mind. Thanks! Darlene Here’s the other one / /

  • Skyline of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada at night.

  • Artistic 3d green design with an aliën

  • Sunrise overlooking the dunes on Inverness Beach Nova Scotia on Cape Breton Island

  • This was one of the most spectacular sunsets I have witnessed in a long time and Scott and I were lucky enough to be at Peggy’s Cove in Nova Scotia when it occurred. At first I was hoping these two love birds would get out of my shot but then I realized they added to it… I hope you enjoy it!

  • I was out with one of my students the other night. We were on our way to the top of the NS Building and found this view from the 13th Floor. The borders top and bottom are actually the window-surrounds. I shot this at about f/7.1 for 2seconds, lens-hood removed, lens flat against the window with my weight pushing against it to brace it still. No tripod? Just improvise! Nikon D300 / Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8

  • I recently uploaded A Lover’s Sunset – Peggy’s Cove, NS and this shot was taken at the same time. The sky was so orange and so amazing that when Scott and I went around to water side we found the lighthouse bathed in an orangish glow….just gorgeous and this is my capture of it.

  • Photo taken just across NS-NB border in mid November. The sun was just about to set and reflecting off the clouds. I liked the effect. The pole and wires are about all there is to break the flat marsh at this spot.

  • This image was taken on Inverness Beach Nova Scotia Canada in October 2008 on the morning after a storm (the night after I took Stormy Skies of Inverness). It was still quite windy and cold even after sunrise (which is to my back) but I had the whole beach to myself for several hours. Canon 40D / EF-S 10-22mm at 22mm / ISO100 1/15sec f/16

  • Red Tulip

  • Halifax, NS, has been around for over a quarter millennium. This Atlantic seashore community has many friendly people with a great sense of humor. The night life includes strolls along the waterfront and a vast assortment of interesting and sometimes quite historic pubs. Canon Rebel XSi / Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM / 1/15, f/1.8, -1.0, ISO 800, hand held

  • Located in the south east of denmark is this beautiful coast line!

  • It does not matter how slow you go up Mountain, as long as you don’t stop Confucius Folks, Denmark.. and a visit to Møns Klint For tomorrow / Sunday:Happy Birthday Jens Our Danish friend Jens Imagic in RedBubble brought us about 110 km out of Copenhagen to this place Møns Klint .. a breath taking spot .. overlooking the Baltic Sea From the parking space, we had to climb a whole lot of stairs. My biggest problem at first was to overcome my fear of heights; it’s particularly, when I can look directly down at whatever’s underneath me, and I feel like the earth is going to move. So I tried to look straight ahead, and finally I was at the top. We walked on small roads, on leafs and up and down small hills along the cliff. / Once I was up there, the fear wasn’t so bad. / I even went to the edge a number of times to take pictures (evidence is included, haha). The sight was just so beautiful. ’ They ‘don’t have any mountains in Denmark, / We never went down the stairs to the beach. Many years ago a French woman was killed, while walking on the beach, when she was hit by a loose stone. / They even have a sign that warns people about walking on the beach or to close to the edge, because there’s a risk of loose stones or slippery ground. There’s also a museum connected with the place. It costs 100 dkk (about 13 Euros) per Adult- I never really cared much about rock science, but it’s probably worth it, if you do. Than.. today.. 4 days later..Jens phoned me in Holland telling that in the Area there.. not to far from where we went .. / A huge sort of land slide happened.. Really a tremendous part of rock.. sand .. plants and trees simply ‘caved ‘in to the Sea.. / No people where missing but the area is under a search , Jens told me. Thanks for reading all this Folks and have a great weekend Proverb of the week: In every Mother-in- law.. pumps the heart of a human being John Tech Speczz Make – Canon Lens L series 24-105 IS / Model – Canon EOS 5D Mark II Software – Adobe Photoshop CS4 Windows ExposureTime – 1/80 seconds / FNumber – 18 / ExposureProgram – Aperture priority / ISOSpeedRatings – 200 ShutterSpeedValue – 1/80 seconds / ApertureValue – F 18.00 Flash – Flash not fired, compulsory flash mode / FocalLength – 24 mm
