  I was born in a land destroyed by the tragedy of communist dictatorship which aimed to make all the people equal. Same rights, same duties. No indivudual thinking, no alternative thaoughts, no freedom of speech. Now I live in a capitalistic land (Italy) which aims to give people the right to improve their condition. Economy is the law. No original thinking, no alternative dressing, faith. Originality transformed in “Style” and conformed to the system. I can’t see any particular difference between communism and capitalism.

  “I died for the last lie, and the heartbreak for the first time, I could not take til I made you cry.” It saddens me I do not have the time to create a comic strip right now because I can see this song play-by-play in my mind. The distant partner, the other trying to reach out but never rewarded until they snap and the tables have turn and every terrible thought that has ever entered their head about the detached flings at them. Because you don’t care anymore, they took and took and took and gave NOTHING so why should you care? It’s the last straw and all you want is the satisfication that you got SOME feeling out of them, the pain you’ve finally put behind you can be experienced by the other first-hand. And they’ll hate you as you leave, but that’s fine, because you feel you deserve to be hated. You’ve switched roles and become the nothing you so deeply despised. But it’s off your chest and you can breathe again. You feel better now. The image to go with this interpretation is very much an attempt at soul-sucking and transferrence. The man with the blank stare has a firm grasp on the woman crying tears of blood. He is forcing her to kiss him, to feel the intimacy while he causes her pain by driving his thumb into her eye, creating the tears he needs to complete the ritual. Their tongues are connected to further this intimacy and to act as an emotional pipeline, his emotion flows into her and is left with apathy. This is my favourite song so far, but I could have done a lot more visual did I have the time.
