Taken on a very cold day at White Point Beach, Nova Scotia Canada. My then Fiancee now wife wrote this in the wet sand, and I took the shot. I thought this might make a nice Valentine’s Day card. This image has taken on new meaning for me now. My Mother had been in the hospital for a little over a week. We knew she was on her deathbed. She had suffered for many years with a number of serious chronic health issues, the most debilitating being COPD – a chronic lung disease which had her housebound and connected to oxygen 24-7. Well this morning (Feb. 15, 2009) she passed away peacefully. The reason this image is special to me now is that it was featured on the Homepage here on RedBubble just hours before she passed away. In my heart I feel that she had something to do with it. This was her way of telling me she loves me for one last time since this image prominently features the words “I LOVE YOU” in the sand. You know I’ve seen my share. Taken this morning (July 08, 2008). One of my favorite subjects for early morning shots is a farm house up the hill from our house. I decided to concentrate on the tree next to it in this shot. Dare to dream and risk the nightmare. / The reward is inside us all / The freedom to release your imagination. *Dare To Dream” has been featured in the Digital Art Compilations group, and added to “Dare To Dream” was created in Photoshop using approximately 7 or 8 of my own photos. nearly 40 layers were used at some point or another in the creation process. Each image was on it’s own layer and were blended together through opacity changes, and varying the blend modes. He actually has a buddy laying right up against him, but the other one can’t be seen in this image. This was taken at White Point Beach Resort in White Point, Nova Scotia, Canada which is famous for the large population of bunny rabbits.
