  • Sometimes the world feels far away and we are locked inside our own sphere, seeing life through a distortion of our ideas. Painted in Spring 2007 the original art is on 20” x 16” stretched canvas. Visit my website Click here

  • This picture is inspired by a a neighbors teenage son. This is him leaping though a break in a wall. a break in the wall he created after 4 hours of hitting it. Where I live in the city many teenagers seem to have become feral. Living from moment to moment, some great anxiety and anger holds them all and they appear to be in a constant state of readiness for something? Combat or escape? I do not know, and I don’t think they do either. Why? I cannot be sure of that, but they are distressed, angry and deeply unhappy about what life brings them. This picture was made over a year ago, and since then he has been removed from his home buy social services. I have no idea if his life has improved, but I doubt it.

  • This is a very odd hybrid of a harley davidson and a VW Beetle that I spotted parked near Cramond beach this week, I have never seen anything like it before! Unofrtunately it was parked on either side by other vehicles which made it tricky to shoot without anything else in the frame whilst using the light properly so this was the best I managed – straight from the camera. Shot with canon 450D & Tamron 70-300mm lens Featured: / Beige Is Death group – April 2009 All profits from sales in 2009 will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support: www.macmillan.org.uk

  • It’s been almost a lifetime since I’ve last visited the Caves of Charish yet I remember them as easily as yesterday. They are quite known in some circles .. travelers of far flung planets of origin we be … but all drawn to the mysteries of those deep corridors in the planet Charish …oh you say you never heard of them … I didn’t expect you too .. it’s been kept secret more out of necessity than any other purpose .. many who visited have never returned … those who have prefer not to speak of them … and you may wonder why I’m telling you at this time in this place … well my friend, I hear you’re on your way to see the Emotans of Nartan … and I’m sure you will hear of the caves from them .. they have heard all the stories and as you know they feel it’s their duty for are they not the Stotytellers! .... I have little time so I will make this quick .. wish I had more but .. well it is what it is … remember this if nothing else .. when you visit the Caves of Charish and I know you will, do not accept the help of the one who guards the stone … oh my I have no more time to explain .. just remember do not accept his help …... I must fly now take care and see me after you come back ….. if you come back ….. This is a 3rd generation collaboration with syd baker ... It all started with my fractal work Green Water Pond which syd took and mutated into three landscapes using Bryce and Vue: Greenwater 01 / Greenwater 02 / Greenwater 03 Then syd shared them with me and this is the first of five I’ve derived from them. The other four can be found here: 1. They Stand and Watch / 2. The Owl Tapestry / 4. Memories of Charish / 5: Deep Earth Work done in Gimp and PaintShopPro. Best viewed large. • This grasshopper held its leaf, and I backed off. It had one of those ‘don’t mess with me’ looks. Taken in my magical garden in the mountains of Mae Hong Son province, Thailand.

  • This is the giant face which is turning heads in the centre of Lincoln. The sculpture, the work of artist Rick Kirkby, has been placed on the large end wall of the Drill Hall in the city. It takes the form of a large metal face, welded together from small strips of stainless steel which will look out towards the main entrance of the venue. This wonderful sculpture lit with the lunchtime suns rays splintering refracted shards of light and shade all over the redbrick wall the metalliic visage was fixed to. • A cluster of Biscuspinor eggs floats in the gaseous atmosphere of this planet. We can also see a few Aethroa worms that seem to be companion organisms to the Biscuspinor. / The Biscuspinor eggs seem to carry these ring-like objects with them. The reason for this is unknown. Another oddity is that although we have been on this planet for two days now we have never seen what a hatched Biscuspinor looks like. We can only speculate at this stage. Further biological research will have to wait. We cannot stay here for much longer as oxygen supplies seem to be rapidly depleting and a peculiar mould is appearing everywhere inside the ship. / The planet is inhospitable. The atmosphere is extremely toxic. / Wait a minute . . . as I write this there is a change to my skin structure . . . / message ends message ends message ends / Created in GroBoto and Photoshop. / Music by Lustmorde.
