I usually do photography. This is my try at creativity. The cirles are cut from the job search page, which was mainly I.T. jobs.
This target shirt is to compliment my artwork titled Caught in the Crosshairs. This design is a simple one and second in the series. Maybe even a little cliched but I find it very effective. The symbolic icon of the target makes a statment about marketing and how they specificly target you to but their product. They try to make a design original on a mass market/ consumer level. Not only is the person wearing this shirt a fashion victim but also a target maybe even a trendsetter. The irony is that this person who has been targeted by the fashion will be the only one wearing this shirt.
Just a response to all the marketing or “targeting” from all the ads seen on TV especially this time of year.

I used to watch a lot of cartoons growing up and I still do. But it’s sometimes unbelievable to see how much they’ve changed – humour, animation, sophistication … I’m sounding very old! I used a lot different papers – crumpled, lined, brown paper and layered them over each other to create this effect.
