  • Lions dealing with a nasty snake and showing respect, but not fear. This is how we aught to approach those things which try to put fear into us.

  • This is one of the photos, part of a series, that I took when I applied for art school earlier this year. It’s a self-portrait in a series about self-image – not having it, and finding it again later. That it’s more important how you feel on the inside.

  • Shot this last weekend while up in Salida. I was lucky enough to spend an hour out shooting with my Auntie Amazing that we were out for so long. Such a small town should have only taken us 15 minutes! But we found lots of really cool stuff! / Saw this in a parking lot made her pull over. I jumped out and shot and then ran! Was afraid I would get busted…Rednecks and guns scare me!!! HAHAH! / HDR processed and then enhanced in LR. I like the angle of it…Had to get pretty low but was worth it in the long run I think!

  • ...... set it free. Quote from Alison Willcocks If you love something, set it free. / If it comes back to you, it’s yours. / If it doesn’t, it never was. / We do not possess anything in this world, / least of all other people. / We only imagine that we do. / Our friends, our lovers, / our spouses, even our children are not ours; / they belong only to themselves. / Possessive and controlling friendships / and relationships can be as harmful as neglect. Made in Photoshop – using photo manipulation, layers, filters and brushes. / Bird in sky image – my own. / Heart Cloud Brush – Fabricate-Stock of Deviantart / Hand Brush – Midnightstouch of Deviantart

  • Winsor Newton Watercolor on Yupo. Yupo is a facinating substrate which allows the paint to mingle nicely & retain it’s vibrancy because the paint is not absorbed. Paint is easily lifted & can even be washed off if you care to start over. A layer or two of clear mat finish acrylic spray is recommended for your finished piece.
