Its 1972 and its Christmas, my Mum is at the far left, whilst I sit with my toy vent doll, Mr Parlanchin heaven knows what I am wearing but it was the 70’s, and just about everyone smoked. / In the pic is my Uncle my Cousin and his wife, my Irish mate Harry, and his Mum looking like she is screaming!! / This was our house with typical garish 1970’s decor and furniture.

This was shot in 1972 on new years day, I am in my Aunt Lil’s house, with my present from Santa, a Mr Parlanchin vent doll, I did a show for all my family on that day, interestingly I was not at all talented in the art of Ventriloquism so I hid behind a curtain and operated the doll, madness!! / I am wearing the hight of suicide 1970’s fashion, and dreadful as it was my beloved Mother, (R.I.P.)many years on, when ever I had a girlfriend, used to dig this photo out, and a close up of myself in that awful jumper/polo shirt from hell, and horrify my girlfriends!!! / I have a look on my face here, of what I thought a Vent artist should look like, but it just looks like I want to go to the little boys room!!
