I carry your heart with me(i carry it in / my heart)i am never without it(anywhere / i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done / by only me is your doing,my darling) / i fear / not fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want / no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true) / and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant / and whatever a sun will always sing is you here is the deepest secret nobody knows / (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud / and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows / higher than soul can hope or mind can hide) / and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart) Poem by e. e. cummings

I am a sap for romance… I like to be swept off my feet as they say. This shot is representation to me of what romance is. A sonnet by Mr. Shakespeare, ( 116), and a Jane Austen book ( Emma) and a rose( even if my favorite flower is a Daisy). / What can I say, I like to be romanced.

Ink on paper illustration from a book I have written and illustrated. This character is largely inspired by Edgar Allan Poe and an array of depressive songwriters I have encountered.

There’s more ocean in fish than fish in the ocean… Nature is wise, but Mankind… just bumbling fools. Learn from the living, watch water in motion, Don’t waste your time staring at small stagnant pools. Fish are content to live their life in water, Water is after all their life’s element. There’s no need for them to be an “achiever,” Living, staying alive… that’s accomplishment. But there was one fish wanting something “better”, He wanted “achievement,” he wanted a “first.” He leapt out of water, fins in quick flutter, Taking fast to the sky… but soon died of thirst… / / Poem by Peter. This is from the series Mars Attack “The Passover” The visitors are passing directly over us as we look in wonder. / All eyes are glued to the sky as we stand and tremble. / The dog is barking at the sky I wonder if he knows? / That soon our whole worlds gonna change forced on us by strangers! / My minds confused as I stand and look what the hell is going on? / Just last week we were in the church praying to Baby Jesus. / But this has put a different player in to my religion. / I wonder who he’s praying to or even if he cares! / My wife’s still looking at the sky as I struggle with my mind. / And all my neighbors are in a trance as this thing go’s by. / And little Trudi’s standing there she’s peed in her new blue jeans. / And her friend Kim from down the street has done the same thing too. / And Mike the guy who’s always ready to come and play some cards. / Is on his knees in his front yard praying up to God. / My mind is still a little foggy as I look to all my neighbors and then Judi comes up to me and says she’s really frightened. / It looks to me that everyones scared as we look at it pass by. / And then I hear someone start to scream so loud it waked me from my thoughts. / Its Janis who’s from the next block over she’s the local artist. / I guess this night will get her busy painting brand new things no more fruit on little tables for this pretty lady. / She’s pointing in the other direction and oh Lord what’s that I see? / As far as my eyes will go are these giant flying sauces. / We all stand and look up at the sky I think someone has fainted! / Yep its Fred my kinky neighbor this is even too much for him as he’s passed out on the front yard in his pink rubber suit. / As far as my eyes will take me its full of flying saucer I guess these things aren’t joking now it looks like they mean business! / And running down the streets towards us is my online friend named Karen. / She’s telling everybody that these things are gonna kill us all. / I tell her to sit on the grass and take a little break if they had wanted us dead it would of been all over. / So here we stand all looking up and all that I can see is the sky so full of visitors to bring a change to our blue Planet! End of Part 4

This artwork was featured in Live, Love, Dream, Feminine Intent, ImageWriting and The Love Of Eerie and Enchanting Artwork This piece reflects the period of transition in which I currently find myself. It’s the end of the year, and naturally I’m thinking of how much I’ve evolved creatively over the last year. I’ve just completed my first poetry book, which is currently in production, and now I find myself looking “beyond my sight” to see what lies out there waiting to be discovered. The Shell Maiden / / I come from the rain of sky and sea, caught / on the web of a shoreline daisy, braced low / and spinning in carnival delight with the / kiss of Pacifica’s mist. I come from the company of driftwood and seashells, bleached white as a wedding train waiting to be worn. The waves roll like a wedding march / announcing the union of land and deep blue dreams. / They bring a dowry of tangled vines and sand dollar spines, / and my heart says YES to this sailors treasure. I come from the flutter of dry seaweed, / no longer rich with Oceana’s brine, and yet / adorning the beach with seafoam flare, / like rice and petals clinging to the foot of a runaway bride. Bring me the delicacies of your wedding feast, snapped up in the yellow of a jealous lover’s bill, for I am treading softly here on honeymoon beds of ancient sand, / inscribing moon colored vows / on the framework / of whales. They were out on the same walk She saw buildings / He saw the sky She saw shadows / He saw the shadows of birds that fly She saw a crack / He saw a crevice She saw a hole / He saw a ditch She saw the homeless / He saw the rich She saw a rock / He saw a diamond When they got home they looked into each other’s eyes, / How shall we ever agree on this life at the same time? / They said all at once / Well… / She said / We must learn to revel in our differences / Lets go against society, / Every time I see differently or you do / Lets break out the champagne and the sweet meats / Every time one sees a problem.. Lets celebrate for the other / Every time one sees a solutions lets do it again … / Celebrate / Celebrate each other.. And then we will loose track of / Perfect timing cause every moment will be just perfect!! So they made a pact and they went for walks / When she saw buildings and he saw the sky they both / Were so happy for what the other was seeing it was like they were seeing EVERYTHING ALL AT ONCE. / It was like it did not matter any more who saw what when or where; It just mattered that they were together. / And guess what? / THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER… TEE HEE / THE END Linaji 2009
sometimes we just do not choose to stop thinking thoughts that cause us deep pain and saddness. I know this to be true. One day after much help from the desire that was great in my heart to be relieved of such painful choices, I finally saw the light after many years of searching for my truth. / When I came to understand that my own choice of thoughts made me feel either good or bad I began to be conscious of my thinking and started to take full responsibility for my thoughts. What freedom I have discovered in taking responsibility for my happiness. I do not have to depend on people places or things to make a choice of a thought that feels a little better or a little worse or continue to think exactly what is causing my own pain. It is a daily practice and I am not perfect at it. Infact I can go for a few days with thoughts that are quite painful. But you know.. it beats years of it!! / Years to months to days to weeks to hours to minutes to NOW.. / I am shooting for IMMEDIATE GRATIFACATION.. TEE HEE…
/ This work was inspired by the wonderful poem UMBRELLA of the very talented artist ANAISNAIS / Thank you Anna-Marie for let to share this beautiful poem here. ’’ UMBRELLA / / by Anaisnais There she stands / Centre stage for all to see / Tall and slender / Precariously she balances. I reach out for her / Draw her to me / My hand skims her body / Slowly reaches her skirt. Playful fingers find hidden areas / Delighted her legs spring forth / Displaying the very beauty / Of her delicately placed, adorned skirt. Gaily she dances around / Dizzily twisting and turning / In the brightness of day shading / She gently tends to my needs. Personal ballerina takes to toes leaping / Merrily bobbing up and down / As emotional to her performance / Clouds cry a thousand tears for her. Reaching our destination / Slightly shaken, she leans / Watches me, / Quietly drips, against the wall. Reminiscent of the day’s fulfillment / We acknowledge one another, silently / Restful knowing we shall be / One, once more. ’’ I truly appreciate all your kind comments and support. / All Origional art work can be purchased through the artist. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——- Copyright notice: / All rights reserved. I had a real strong desire to go blue with this as usual, but there was something about a warm colour that made the message come across more clearly. Inspired by the last stanza of a beautiful poem called “Life” by George Herbert (1593-1633). Farewell, dear flowers, sweetly your time ye spent, / Fit, while ye lived, for smell or ornament, / And after death for cures. / I follow straight without complaints or grief, / Since if my scent be good, I care not, if / It be as short as yours. ....Stock Credits…. / Sky/Field/Road / Death / Stock copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.
