This calender is about soothing colors and shades of our sky. The photographs were taken in Northern Norway, on an Island called Tromsö which is very near the Arctic circle. Actually this Island is called the gateway to Antarctica. And there is such immense beauty here, and I am sharing some with you.

Oslo, summer 2008 Street photographers are a strange breed. They walk around, they saunter, they wonder, they search and stare and then maybe shoot. They see what most people don’t want to see. Then, when we look at the photos, we only know the story that a photographer would share with us. Most likely it’s not the whole story just because they can’t know people’s thoughts, feelings, they can only guess. We can guess. And tell our own story. Think what could happen, how it will affect those people, try to imagine.

These are images to highlight the wondrous sights I saw last time I visited the beautiful part of Norway, called Östfold. / The old mining town of Röros, with its origin in the 17th century and its well preserved timber houses, has been declared World Heritage, and is certainly worth a visit. / Many images are taken in and around the valley of Hessdalen. It´s well known in ufo-circles for its frequent observations of light phenomena seen mainly after dark and against the background of the surrounding mountain ranges.
