I have a soft spot for children. And balloons. Mix the two, and you got me chasing this kid down the street to get a clear shot! Taken in Bergen, Norway in 2006

This little one-house island in Norway looked like a fairytale place to live…..
Mystical moods from the Norwegian tall pine forest. October 2007.

I grew up in the Dakota’s in the USA and was quite used to snow…sand was not so usual here. The first time I saw snow and sand together in Norway, I was amazed! I had always thought that when there was sand, there was warmth! WRONG!
Manipulated image from King Harald and Queen Sonja’s Castle (Gamlehaugen) Situated in Bergen, Norway / I love the architecture too…Stunning! Fjord in Norway near by Geiranger.
Land’s End, Norway. The white “dot” in the tidal pool is actually the moon reflection. Much more visible on a large sized print.
Siv on the beach. This is a friend of mine who I have used as a model many times. She was Miss Norway a few years ago.
Brilliant display of light by the Oslofjord, Norway. Sunrise, November 2007.
Another view from Paradise Bay. My first submission to RB in a while. I apologize for not replying/commenting on peoples work in the past few weeks. A lot of new stuff is happening in my life right now. Nothing bad I assure you. Just good things :) Anyways, thanks for looking!
Well, it’s not a final goodbye. When I shot this, a strong northern front was rolling over my head (the one you see in the photo) and discharging tiny specks of snow. But at least the ice is breaking and spring is in reach. Happy Easter (if you celebrate that kind of thing).
A winter panorama shot of the valley Valldal on the west coast of Norway, taken during the christmas holiday. Stitched together of 15 pictures. Post-processing: / Stitched some pictures together, obviously. Fixed the contrast with curves, added a lighter curve only on the lower part as the valley was pretty dark, and the mountain tops really light. Added two black and white layers set to hard light (140%), mainly on the sky and the mountain tops.
Reeds in the water. Fascinating…the base of each reed had a small water bubble reflecting the setting sun. Sandnes, Norway.
Thanks for stopping by! :-) Hope you get to have a great weekend! :-) / Andreas Stridsberg © My website -> www.mystic-pic.com / My Blog -> www.mystic-pic.com/apps/blog
Moods from Norway. October 2007.
A fascinating and beautiful beach on the west coast of Norway. These huge boulders roll in and out when the powerful North Seas waves hit them. It makes an eerie and almost frightening sound.
Now, here is a good story….I was out photographing some old buildings on a rustic Norwegian farm one sunny spring morning and my eye caught these old wool long johns flying in the wind on the clothesline. I stopped in my tracks…fascinated by the sight. All I could think of was how they looked like they were dancing with joy – happy to finally be set free out in the fresh spring air. It took me a lot of convincing to talk the elderly farm wife into letting me take this shot. She was horrified at the thought, but graciously accepted my creative eccentricity in the end, shaking her head and mumbling all the while. .....They look like they are on a backdrop, but that is the blue sky…..really!
Part of a series I shot by a beach near Oslo, Norway early today. Temporary titled. 160 second exposure. Canon EOS 5D with Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS USM
