The light was changing every minute. I climbed over some huge rocks to get into a great position to take some surfing shots, when suddenly this huge cloud covered up the sun. Suddenly the beautiful light illuminating the waves the surfers were riding was gone. I looked to my left and noticed the light here. Quickly, I grabbed my stuff and setup this shot…..only got one frame, because soon after this the light here was also gone. Treviso is an attractive town in the Veneto region of north-east Italy, with a population of around 80,000. Rebuilt and restored after Second World War bombing, the town centre is a rambling maze of streets lined with arcaded walkways. Looking up, you’ll see fragments of the painted frescoes which once decorated Treviso’s houses. The town is circled by a town wall and by waterways. I went along to the Ace Café one evening to see what I could see. The venue has a wonderful history and is a fully refurbished café cum restaurant all kitted out in 50’s style. Car and bike enthusiasts of all types meet there regularly. /

I painted this picture with Art Rage after reading the Golden Compass trilogy. Painted from a picture of the aurora which I found on the internet. I have always been fascinated by the northern lights and there are wonderful descriptions of this natural phenomena in the first book of the above mentioned trilogy. This is one of my favorite shots taken during a camping venture to Carolina Beach. The trip was specifically planned to wake up early and take picture of the beautiful sunrise. I had no idea the pictures would turn out so gorgeous. I cannot wait to return to attempt to once again capture the beauty and splendor of the sunrise over the ocean. A lucky photo of the lighthouse at Scarborough. I’d had my back to the lighthouse for some time watching the light falling over the south beach when I turned round to see a huge black cloud behind the lighthouse and this beautiful rainbow. I only had about a minute to get the photo I wanted before the rainbow faded and the heavens opened soaking me to the skin!

We really don’t get much snow on the West Coast of Scotland, because of the influence of the Gulf Stream, and on the rare occasion it does fall, it is soon gone!! / Beinn Bhan is one of the peaks of the Applecross range, seen here from near Ardarroch, Loch Kishorn, on a gorgeous Winter’s afternoon. just as the sun was going down…at around 3.30pm !! Taken in the North Yorkshire Dales, heading out of the village of Grinton and heading towards Redmire Moor. you climb up a nice gentle slope and then a few bends with wide open roads and hit an area that looks like it has been blasted by nature and man a few times and you came across some open views and then vistas like this one.
