  Thanks for your prayers, thoughts and best wishes in regards to my car and it being in need of repairs. Really the whole job should have taken only a few days but having mixed up push rods and smashed a valve and having to take it all apart and purchase new gaskets and then coming into a Temp Job things have finally found me at a rewarding finality. Tonight at 9:30 pm I hooked up my battery cable, put the key in the ignition grit my teeth and cranked the Engine over, one and a half revolutions later it fired up and purred like it has not purred since the day it rolled off the assembly line, not that the assembly line gets any glory in this on the contrariety they get demoted, I have gone through all the necessary steps to ensure that I have done everything possible to be able to get 200 000 Km with out any worries about having to a Head Gasket or UIM or LIM (Upper and Lower Intake Manifolds) pumps may go, spark plugs replaced, filters and fluids be changed but I will never do another Top End over haul for as long as I own this car!!!!!! Or I will drive it to GM, and I will park it on some Bone Heads Desk and flip flop my attitude and vomit my disgust and then quickly head to the nearest Airport and fly home to purchase an IMPORT most likely a VW Jetta TDI or a BMW Mini Cooper. / North American Auto Makers can Kiss my Allegiance GOOD BYE, and the rest of my life I will be educating people and even coercing people to incline their desire towards Volks Wagon, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Honda, Harley Davidson, Yamaha, PeterBuilt and Kenworth. I will spend whatever time required to convince ready buyers to forget about even considering North American Automobiles because they have proven to be greedy blow hards, who stroke egos and count dollars, who don’t care about Proven Engineering, nor care about what consumers are faced with due to their Negligent and Fraudulent Productions!!!!!!! VW makes a Sound Product that boasts extreme Fuel Mileage, Toyota has engineered a 2.4L Diesel that gets better than 80 Miles to a gallon but they have been banned from North America because it makes Buisness Giants Look like Baboons with propeller hats and Fat Kid Lolly Popps. Ok Ok OK!!!! I am finished my Rant / I love my Pontiac, Mmmm Air Condition DOH!!!! Summer is Over!!! / I Love my Ponitac, Mmmm ABS DOH! DOH!!! My ABS Sensors are shot!!!!! / I Love My Pontiac, Mmmm Automatic Transmission DOH!!!!! 1800 RPM @ 110 KPH!!! and Fuel is $1.20 a litter.

  Hi To All My Friends in RedBubble Land!!! Thought I’d let you all know that I’m sorry, but I won’t be able to “Reply to any Comments” on my work, or Comment on anyone else’s work, as I am taking a 2 months Caravan Holiday up to Cape York, North Queensland. Cape York is the most northern point of Australia. I will certainly miss the contact with the many lovely people that I have come to know on RB!!! I so appreciate the many wonderful and encouraging comments on my work and the overwhelming support from you all!! Thank You All So Very Much!! I will be busy preparing for our trip over the next few days or more, as I intend to leave by the end of the week, so I thought I would send this out sooner rather than later! It shows me that people on RB appreciate my work, and also, that I must’ve made some improvment… Anyway, Thanks to everyonw who commented, favorited, viewed and purchased my work…It is truly appreciated!!!   I am posting this to try and stimulate a discussion on this point. I had a work rejected the other day under the “too arty farty” rul…

  I am posting this to try and stimulate a discussion on this point. I had a work rejected the other day under the “too arty farty” rule. I could just about understand “a representational works only” rule.. but what exactly is “TOO arty farty” and why should it not be allowed ? / / As I obviously do “arty farty” I admit I simply don’t understand the need for this rule. I could perhaps understand this rule if this was the “north west photography” group..but it does say on the groups page that one of its aims is “to encourage creativity” so lets put the shoe on the other foot and imagine the whoo haaa.. if I had a rule of no photography in a fictitious north west visual art group. Red Bubble is an art site… and so in my opinion there really should there no restriction on non representational art in this group ? I could perhaps understand this decision if this was a random abstract work by an artist outside the north west.. but I am based in the north west and it is an abstract work about the colours, shapes and textures of Cumbria ! I don’t mind folks rejecting my work on quality grounds someone has to make a decision afterall.. but what is the intellectual justification for such a rule ? Is it really the role of a group on Red Bubble to be an online tourist brochure.. even real world brochures include abstract graphic artwork ? I want to get my work in front of a North West audience so can’t understand why as an north west artist I am being restricted in this way. For me this group should be a platform for all creative artists inspired by or living in the North West of England. Or are “we” collectively saying non representational art (a large part of 20th and 21st century art) is not encouraged in the north west of England, because that would be something I fundamentally disagree with ? I apologise in advance if this rattles a few cages.. but I feel strongly that a “north west group” on an art site.. should not be restricting “art” works in this way. In my view a much fairer and understandable rule would be to allow works from north west artists.. or artists inspired by the culture, people and landscapes of the north west of England. For your interest this is the work

Being my best large painting, I am very happy! Not to mention seeing all the Sydney bubblers >Marco, Mayuphotos, Miloman and wife, George, Bodymechanic, Leek, Sara, Stranger Street who said they’d make it-true to your word! I really appreciate it- it was a beautiful day, and we all have so many choices of where we can be -thanks for choosing to visit me !   Alright, hoping to illicit some information here …... I have the opportunity to travel to the Grand Canyon this weekend, staying in Williams, AZ. Plannning on going to the South Rim for sure, and maybe paying the North Rim a visit as well. Since I have never been, any photographic advice? I’m taking the D200, Tokina 12-24mm, Nikon 24-120mm and the Sigma 50-500mm and of course the Tripod. I’m hoping to get Sunrise and Sunset shots. On my way back to Las Vegas, I will also try to visit the Skywalk (glass walkway which literally goes over the top of the Canyon). Any advice is appreciated, is the park open 24 hours, for instance?

  This morning, I went along to an exhibition in North Sydney held by sunset ... I was very impressed with her artworks (large, small & various)... I hope that you sold a few today sunset… For me, it highlighted many of the issues that must be faced by traditional artists when selling their work on RedBubble… In real life, Sunset’s artworks oozed texture and colour which simply wouldn’t be available on a framed print or canvas reproduction… I wonder if there’s a solution to this???
