The Angel of the North probably one of the most photographed works of public art in the north of England if not the country as a whole. I felt it required a fresh view and as Easter was fast approaching and the word Angel being Hebrew for messenger I thought an artistic take would be to re-create the crucifixion scene for a modern day audience. This is three images combined to make this scene.

This is a night time capture of the Sunset Lake Dam in Holly Springs, NC. The water has been coming over the dam pretty steady since Hurricane Hanna hit our state a few days earlier BEST If Viewed Larger!

This one was taken at popular surfing spot Cat Bay on the North West coast of Phillip Island in Victoria, Australia. Got here with the hope of getting some nice long exposures of the high tide coming in and then the clouds opened up… Taken with my Canon 40D and 10-22mm wide angle lens as well as poalrising, graduated and ND filters. Under the pier at Cowes, Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia at Dawn. Taken at the same time as Beginning of a new day for something a little bit different. It was pretty chilly, windy and way too early in the morning for me, it’s amazing how much lens distortion you get with a wide angle lens! / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm EF-S. A lucky photo of the lighthouse at Scarborough. I’d had my back to the lighthouse for some time watching the light falling over the south beach when I turned round to see a huge black cloud behind the lighthouse and this beautiful rainbow. I only had about a minute to get the photo I wanted before the rainbow faded and the heavens opened soaking me to the skin!
