  • Indigenous to the Northern Kamchatka Peninsular the Koryak’s nomadic lifestyle remains unchanged for centuries. These tough people are very hard to find as they have no modern means of communication and are constantly on the move. There are no roads in the area and it is only this time of the year that they bring their herds to the coast. The reindeer crave salt which they get from drinking sea water and eating sea weed. Hence, there is a small window of opportunity to find them by plying the coastline of northern Siberia in the late Summer.

  • Here is a 1955 (now 54 years old) red Chevrolet Nomad, two-door station wagon. Nomads were made only for a three of years (1955-1957). Only 7,886 Nomads were ever built. I love how the sign is reflected on the side of the Nomad. Trivia….for those Home Improvement Fans (Tim Allen) this is the same type of car that Tim dropped an I-beam on and crushed in the show.
