A bald eagle taking off from its perch filled the frame of my camera before I could back off the zoom. The power and majesty of the eagle is something to see. My husband and I watched a pair for quite a while as they “chatted,” perched together on a branch, made circles in the sky above us, and put on the best air show we’ve seen. What a glorious sight! This was taken in southeastern Louisiana along its bayous and estuaries.

Was an 8 image stitch came out at over 120cm wide at 320DPI . Other news I picked up my Canon 5DMKII the other day and new Canon L 24-70mm F2.8 Lens . Went up to Lancelin yesterday to test out my new 5D Mark II . Got up there fairly early in the afternoon as we though we would have to try and find a location to set up . When we arrived it was blowing a gale and sand got every where , must have brough back half the dunes with me . Still stuck it out though and took a fair few shots . Later on the at night we though we would try some star trails as the wind had died off .
