  • Wanderring...
    by micmac

    US$3.99–US$91.20

So close,so far… / It felt like eternity… / I walked …and walked / lost in a paradise of ice Hopelessly crying, hoping / to be delivered from that immensity. / I reached the top of that icy pic / and saw a small refuge. For an euphoric instant / I saw His Face in the clouds / The Keeper of my souvenirs / I knew ,then / The reason of my wanderring… Gigi / / My first poem in english and first experience for me.This situation happened to me two days ago,I’ve got lost in the woods for 3 hours, walking and walking, desperate to find a saving light. It was so dark, even Tchoko was worried, chasing imaginary animals….then I saw thousands of stars all arround me,it was fireflies….it was like being part of the universe…nothing else but fireflies…then I realised I was out of the woods.I met 6 persons and asked for help, one of them let me do a phone call but Michel was working late and wasn’t there.I have to say that I hated humanbeings that night and I cried of rage instead of fear.I finaly saw a police car on the road and went back to where I was parked. It was midnight.Tchoko and I slept the day after, tired but happy to be home. / ...A true story ..thanks for reading…x / / PS. I wanted to do the sunset on the top of a mountain, the same place I took «Together at last»but I forgot the time shooting mushrooms…. :)))..it’s all me. / / A macro shot of snow that fell down the roof last winter.I hope I’m not the only one who sees a part of a face in the clouds… :))...better view larger.

  • Sunrise over Crescent Moon Canyon
    by RLHall

    US$5.82–US$133.00

  • Sandstone 1
    by MichaelBr

    US$3.99–US$91.20

In wadi Gureir in Jordan the walls are made of colorful sandstone. At some places they look like Japanese drawing. I assume these were created by layering of different colored sand hundreds of millions of years ago.

  • 10 hours from Base Camp, and suddenly, through a clear patch in the clouds, we saw our dream – Mt Everest. Yeti ropes, massive in the patchy sunlight, taunted us. They span from peak to peak, we struggle along through snow drifts, ice and cruel rocky outcrops. But to climber-ants such as us, yeti spider-aids are for the wimps. We will conquer on insect-strength alone. We will triumph! Taken in macro, on winter bark, on a crisp, chilly morning, with dawn sunlight glimpsing over the edge of our bark-everest-landscape.

  • Aerial View
    by jacqi

    US$4.49–US$102.60

“With our single engine faltering, we knew we had to find somewhere for an emergency landing down there. The terrain looking too rough and rocky but there had to be somewhere in that area between the two river courses where the trees were growing so thickly.Time was running out…...” Macro closeup of rock with lichen on the quartz seams

  • Old Log
    by suzannem73

    US$3.99–US$91.20

A close up view of the beautiful texture and patterns of an old log. I came across this log while visiting a public garden. I had taken many photos of beautiful flowers and this caught my eye when we were leaving. I’m sure some of the ladies in our group thought it was a little strange that I thought this was worthy of a photo, but I really liked the uniqueness of it.

  • Slippery Slopes
    by Glenn Tuazon

    US$6.65–US$152.00

We have reached the edge of the known world…traveling has been easy so far… as I look out.. I can see the winding path ahead….how far will it go?.. It can only go so far before we reach the water mark….We should put our LIfejackets on for safety..now everyone on board!.... as this vehicle is about to go on a slippery downhill ride. Yipee! Tubing can be fun :) / / I wanted to use the soft focus as the background… making the point of interest the next obstacle in our path. THis is a rock at low tide.. I took a few before the water came rushing in… that’s were the moist comes from.

  • Beach Debris
    by BizziLizzy

    US$4.66–US$106.40

My interpretation made from a photo of a crumbling wall

  • firescape
    by Floralynne

    US$3.99–US$28.50

After the fire, all that was left was a dead tree trunk slightly leaning on the ridge. Not a hint of green was left in the devastated landscape. There was deep cave in the hill behind where all fled to escape the conflagration.. Stretching the imagination? LOL.

  • Mosaic IV
    by Emma Robinson

    US$3.99–US$28.50

I think this looks like a stream running down through the hills to fill a lake, an oasis in a dusty desert landscape. or a little something from the mosaic tree? Mosaic / Mosaic II / Mosaic III Other macro pics

  • aerial view / of the flow of lava / down a mountain side / like a red river of fire… ...or it’s a macro of the craggy crevices of in the bark of a tree :)

It is popular for fishing, swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving. Easy walking trails enable exploration of the unique rock formations.
