An autumn painting made for the Super Contest of ArtDuel.
We will never surpass nature.
Nature has a beautiful use of colour.
A painting I made for my mom for Mother’s Day. Larger version can be seen here: http://www.annekehut.nl/anneke/flowervase.html
Dave looks over our city after we completed an extremely difficult hike up a steep little mountain. / B&W processing inspired by the excellent work of Deborah Parkin. ..................................... / Click here to add me to your watch list. / .....................................

When I was taking the picture, I popped up the built in flash and put my finger in front of it to enhance the reds a little. The bright red glare that you see there is the reflection of the flash blasting through my finger. To me it kind of looks like there’s a light blinking inside the box. Would you have pressed it?
After a couple of unsuccessful attempts over the years, we finally found the magnificent waterfall in the community of Gull Island.
Gull Island Cove, NL Bits of glacial refuse were strewn all over the beach behind the breakwater. / We bagged them up, brought them home and boiled them down for the purest tea you have ever had.
Bowring Park is quite beautiful this time of the year.

Crow, waiting for me to leave so it can go back to eating the moths.

This probably could of used a tighter crop, but I was too in love with all the colours and light.
The T-Shirt adaptation of “Crow”
Bell Island, NL We think this was an old pump house. / It was just this chained off abandoned property in the middle of town with crenelations out side and rusty pipes inside. It looked like a old fort.
These houses are based off real ones
