Before motherhood, I thought I was so humble, compassionate and loving and kind… but in truth, I had not been tested yet. I am happy to say, that 4 years and 2 kids later, I am still on a very steep learning curve of patience, selflesness, compassion, understanding… but I know that I am way ahead on the chart than I was before I had kids. / Motherhood is the most unrelenting and beautiful teacher that gives the best perks.

It is not always this great excitement that we need, but just the odd sign scattered throughout our lives that we are on the right track and that we are heading to something great soon. Weather they are singing, screaming or just plain chatting non-stop… the voice of the toddler is one that is hard to ignore. This is my absolute favourite painting in the world… I did it in acrylic and pastels and it was the first time that I have ever used them. I think she is perfect and I hope that she brings some magic to your day too :-)
