FROM WIKIPEDIA / Meditation is a mental discipline by which one attempts to get beyond the reflexive, “thinking” mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. Meditation often involves turning attention to a single point of reference. It is recognized as a component of many religions, and has been practiced since antiquity. It is also practiced outside religious traditions. Different meditative disciplines encompass a wide range of spiritual and/or psychophysical practices which may emphasize different goals—from achievement of a higher state of consciousness, to greater focus, creativity or self-awareness, or simply a more relaxed and peaceful frame of mind. Giving this sense of relaxation and peace, meditation ultimately leads people to find peace within themselves. FROM BUDDHA SERIES: / MEDITATION / / BUDDHA / / / OHM / / / NIRVANA / ILLUMINATION /

The Autumn breeze, played with her hair as it swept through her mystical landscape and time seemed to realize its insignificance whenever she came here to visit. When she came here, the sky opened up with hope and the spirits of the forest rejoiced. Every blade of grass that touched her feet was simply delighted and flowers fell from the trees for the chance to simply brush past her skin for a moment. In this place, her place, she is divine light, she is love, she is wild and free. Spend a dreamy day exploring your hearts’ desires and enjoying the pure innocence and care free delight of childhood.
HOPE is like a light house! When you are lost in the darkness of ignorance, it makes you see the path ahead. Spread this light of hope to find a way to eternity. Getting out of Water lilies. CHALLENGE WINNER in Look up in the sky challenge and FEATURED in That’s Entertainment group. April 2009 This is by far my most widely viewed image at JPG Magazine, with over 1,000 views. I also have a photo essay there, Serendipity: The Makings of Magical Sky showing how this sequence of events unfolded – and sharing how blessed I felt, not only to have witnessed the scene but to have my camera with me to capture it. For some reason, I never posted this image here at Red Bubble earlier. Perhaps I had not found a reason to. Now I have, thanks to Nirvana! —- Basically, this was what happened… On 14 March 2008, a whole series of unlikely coincidences led me to take this set of photographs that made me feel truly lucky and blessed. That day, I was to meet some friends for dinner. I was early, so I decided to take a different bus along a different route for a change of scenery. It meant that I had to get off the bus midway and walk some distance to catch a connecting bus at another bus stop. I got off the bus and walked along a small side road, to be away from the traffic. It was just past 5 pm. The sun was still high, and shining brightly. At the end of this road was a long, dark, almost black retaining wall. I thought the shadows of the ‘Stop’ sign, lamp post and palm leaves cast on the dark wall would make an interesting image. I took out my camera and snapped two shots. But then the shadows faded. I turned back to look at the sun, to see when it might emerge to once again cast those shadows. The sun had gone behind a huge cloud, forming a brilliant silver lining. It was nice, although not fantastic. Anyway, I had my camera with me. I shot a few. Then I noticed something unusual. Above one corner of the cloud was a bright, glowing disc. An unidentified flying object? I half hoped it was. I shot a few more. As I shot, the disc grew larger and more colorful. Somehow, I wasn’t as anxious about capturing the moment. I simply stood and watched in awe, raising my camera to shoot only when there was a significant change in the marvellous sky painting before me. It was a quiet road and I was mostly all to myself. The magic took about 20 minutes to reach its climax and then another 10 minutes to slowly fade away. Actually it lingered somewhat longer, but I had an appointment to keep. I was already late!
That beautiful moment of true happiness when the artist actually gets to paint! Self Portriat of a happy moment. I hope that you are feeling like a bit of green :-) Love Tara.
