This photo was taken during my trip to Luxor (Egypt, Africa) in 2007. When I was on the boat voyage on the Nile. The Nile is a major north-flowing river in Africa, generally regarded as the longest river in the world. People seem curious about rage day. Since it’s so far off, I can’t disclose the full details yet, but here is some background. Two freinds, who will remain unnamed for now, were sitting in a German class one day, watching videos of German festivals such as Oktoberfest, Karnival, etc. and realized that, although some southern states have things like Mardi Gras, the midwest- Minnesota in particular- does not have its own “Beerfest” style day (or days) of partying. And there’s a long time between Winter and Spring breaks. So why not throw in a party holiday to look forward to between those two- just to break up the monotony during second semester? So that’s the background. It’s not about raging on people or taking out anger, although that could definitely be a part of your rage day (they chose rage because epic was overused). The people who made it want colleges to make it their own and use their imagination. Oh, and there’s rules for rage day: 1. Das Boot must be present at every party on Rage Day. 2. If you can remember Rage Day, it has not been successful. More to come soon…

Opinions are like this…........... light. or dark…....golden….... and confusing, clear, and questionable, inspirational . or not….... they leave an imprint or not….... they are…..... part of our art. / They are part of our attitudes. they are all of value. / it is harder to believe something so specific, so intense, so defined. I am of the opinion of C. J Lewis “A man can no more diminish God’s glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, ‘darkness’ on the walls of his cell.” Collage created by my textures….... and adding print lines ….. and special framing to get the effect….... check out
