This is my first posting (though not my first photo) with my new, very first SLR – Nikon D300. Taken at the Monterey Bay Aquarium – as much as I love my trusty old F707, I have never been able to capture, to my satisfaction, the jellies at Monterey Bay Aquarium with that camera. Can’t quite explain it, but I absolutely love this shot. So this morning I went to give my new (to me) Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 ED lens another test run, and came across this scene at the Imperial Docks, Metro Machine Corp. in Portsmouth, VA. I find the two folks having a morning chat amongst the total chaos of industrial engineering riveting. Hope you do as well. Image taken with Nikon D200. My art with 1000+ views

This photo was taken at sunset on a windy day on Lake of the Woods, Ontario Canada. I was impressed by the brilliant array of colors in the water and spray of waves crashing against the rocks. The camera, Nikon D50, was on a tripod about 10” above the water. /
