Photo of my G scale 4-6-0 loco, which has been put through two programs to achieve this effect.
Published in the 5th Issue of JPG Mag, for the theme Photography is not a crime.
If you look closely you can see two trains in this one. Firstly there is the blur of one on the left track heading away from the camera and then there is one approaching on the right track. I’ve deliberately left in it’s yellow light beam… Can you see them try viewing it large.. This was taken on the same night as Departure /
Two trains race each other to Richmond Station on a chilly Winter’s evening in Melbourne, Australia. HDR done in Photomatix, the 3 trains were all added from seperate photos of the same spot in Photoshop which is pretty new to me. Was then converted to a Sepia Tone in Adobe Lightroom. The roof structure at Southern Cross railway station
Winner of the Experimental Orange Competition 14 Feb 2009 :):) Featured in the European Everyday Group . I was experimenting with my new Compact Digital, trying to capture a light trail as my train came into the station. It took a few tries but I was pretty happy with this result. Camera: Sony Cybershot on Fireworks mode, no flash. / Location: London
this is the, er, night train to, er, well, cairo. yup. it was great fun, the dining car had proper gin, not the dodgy egyptian home brew we’d been forcing down our throats in the preceding weeks.

I have to give credit to my wife for spotting this out her side of the truck window. This is out on the eastern plains of Colorado at night with a full blazing moon. This train has been sitting here for a very long time. We’ve been passing it on our way to Kansas for many years. / EOS 20D 24-105 Long exposer due to low light.
