Written during a rain storm in which I imagined that the rain was a sad woman weeping for the one she left behind.

It never ceases to amaze me, the incredible and inspiring works from some amazing photographers that I trip over, discover and delight in on Red Bubble. And I’ve just found another by Andy Smylie, which has brought forth a short piece of writing. Again it tumbled out in comment form, but is now slightly re-worked. Short. / But often shorter is better.

Whenever the moon says her last goodbyes to the night, You will find me, Standing on the shores of forever.
Written in 2000. This is another one of my old poems. I really should take up writing again. I wrote these as an outlet for my feelings….never planned to share them with anyone. When I go back and read them, I feel peace. I think I’ll start posting one a day….maybe stir up some inspiration. :) I have a work in progress that I really need to finish so that I can get it up here for sale. She too is called ‘Mother Nature’ but she was drawn well after the poem was written. I think it’s a good illustration for the poem. /
